“RETURNING FROM THE TRIP”
Fatigue and dream after a trip

This painting represents a future new daily normality restored, sadly become no longer future but present time. Two young women, perhaps friends, perhaps even sisters, with their beauty disfigured by the masks on their faces, asleep from the tiredness of a difficult life in an unhealthy environment, lie close on a bench after a trip; perhaps a trip for shopping, because life must go on despite everything and the difficulties, the ugliness (in this case caused by self-injurious humanity) must become normal, accepted. Elements of dreams and reality come together in this picture by means of the ink drawing on the background, landscape elements and not (the ubiquitous coffee makers).
